Today sees the return of the ever popular Beverley 10K, an event that sees local runners, first time runners and fun runners tackle a quite difficult course around Beverley.

Beverley AC has seen an extremely busy summer, with members running in several high profile events, with some very noteworthy performances.
Fourteen Beverley runners were fortunate enough to experience the huge Great North Run on 10 September, with nine completing the 13.1 mile course in under two hours.

The inaugural Burton Constable 10k race, organised by East Hull Harriers, took place last Sunday. The race was fast and flat, on trails through the grounds of Burton Constable Hall, landscaped by Capability Brown.
Becky Briggs was Beverley Athletic Club’s star performer at last Friday evening’s Airkool Walkington 10k road race, winning the women’s race and taking 31st place overall in the event.
