Bishop Burton College is thrilled to announce they are hosting an exciting new family-friendly day out on Sunday 20 March.
Building on the hugely popular Lambing Sunday that the College ran for many years, Spring Live is an all-new fun-packed day, which will allow the public to explore the beautiful campus grounds and enjoy an array of family-orientated entertainment and activities.
Lambing Sunday made a triumphant return to Bishop Burton College at the weekend, with thousands of people from across the region flocking to the family event.
The college held the event again after it had to be cancelled last year and it was clear it has lost none of its appeal.
Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards will take place later this week with a number of businesses and events flying the flag for Beverley.
Tourism is a key industry for the region with the latest figures released showing tourism in 2017 was worth £837 million to the local economy, with more visitors coming to area than ever before.
Bishop Burton College has unfortunately had to cancel Lambing Sunday this weekend (11th March).
The college has received veterinary advice to cancel the event after a number of lambs were identified as having a skin infection. This is believed to have been brought on by stress, caused by the recent adverse weather.

Thousands of people from across the country descended upon Bishop Burton College this Mothers’ Day to witness the birth of the new lambs, pet them and help with feeding at this year’s Lambing Sunday.
Thousands of families from across East Yorkshire and beyond flocked to Bishop Burton College at the weekend to celebrate Mother’s Day by meeting some of the first lambs of the season.
On Sunday 15th March, the campus will once again be opening its doors to visitors, in order to give the public the opportunity to see the College’s ewes and their new-born lambs up close.
Invited dignitaries and guests attended a celebratory lunch at Bishop Burton College on 10 March, to mark the College winning the AoC Beacon Award for Practical Teaching and Learning in Agriculture.
