This was probably Beverley’s most disappointing performance of the season at the Eastmount Community Centre last Saturday. They managed to field a fairly strong lineup with only Gavin Proctor a late withdrawal due to injury.
The blue and golds get back to league action this Saturday with a trip to face Lambwath Lions. Lambwath now play their home games at the Eastmount Community Centre Longhill.
Although the Beverley Braves had their biggest win of the season against Lambwath Lions, credit must go to their opponents who never gave up.

David Elvidge sent in these pictures he took at the Beverley Leisure Centre featuring local rugby league side Beverley ARLC. This friendly match was a real test for Beverley who were narrowly beaten by Lambwath who play in a high league.
This was a game contested by two desperate sides at the Beverley Leisure Centre last Saturday, and a draw in an error strewn encounter was a fair reflection of the game. Early in the game it was a case of if anything can go wrong it will for the hosts.
