Beverley RUFC U16s beat local rivals Driffield RUFC 41-0 despite having re shuffle their side due to a number of players missing through injury.
This was a match Beverley were always in control of. While Driffield were really very close in ability and size, the clear difference between the teams being unity shone by the Beavers.
Beverley RUFC continued their good start to the season following the Yorkshire Cup first round win away against Pocklington with a resounding 43 – 0 home win against York.
This win was against a sadly depleted York team who started with fourteen players and Beverley were soon able to make their player advantage count.
With nine of the Beverley Braves either injured or unavailable and with many of the remaining 13 players playing out of position this was always going to be a testing encounter for the Braves
After Cottingham Tigers brought Beverley Braves winning run to an end in July it would be expected that this game just a few weeks later would be similarly competitive
