Longcroft Students Get Their Hands Top Cycling Trophies

Students at Longcroft School welcomed representatives from the Tour de Yorkshire to the school, giving them a chance to get a close look at the events trophies.

As part of a day-long series of visits to local schools and a public display, organisers brought the event trophies in for students to see for themselves and to create enthusiasm for the forthcoming tour.

Students from Longcroft School have been given a tour of the BEA Systems at Brough after they enjoyed success in an engineering competition. The Brough Seaplane completion was created to mark the centenary of the BAE Brough site and also inspire young people in schools to embrace engineering.
