Three teams of runners from Beverley Athletic Club travelled to Birchwood in Warrington last Saturday to take part in the Start Fitness Northern Athletics Autumn Road Relays. Beverley AC @ Humber Bridge Half-Marathon

Temperatures soared to 30°C last Sunday as more than 1500 people took part in the Humber Bridge Half-marathon. With no shade on much of the course runners could not escape the heat and had to adjust their pace to suit the conditions. Steve Peacock First Runner Home For Beverley in Humber Bridge 10K

The annual Humber Bridge 10k road race took place last Sunday and members of Beverley Athletic Club joined a field of over three hundred runners to race across the bridge and back. Lucas Meagor Completes Third Marathon

Last Sunday Lucas Meagor of Beverley Athletic Club completed the third of his series of four marathons in four weeks in aid of Cystic Fibrosis.  After running the first 21km of the race in Limerick in 1:39:06 he slowed down in the second half of the race and finished in 3:46:05 – his fastest time in the series so far. The final race takes place in Skopje, Macedonia, on Sunday.

Lucas Meagor Completes First of Four Marathons

Lucas Meagor of Beverley Athletic Club completed the first of his series of four marathons in four weeks last weekend in Paris. Running in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Meagor completed the 26.1 mile course in 3 hours 53 minutes and 9 seconds.
