After a bumper senior Pock 7s on Good Friday, the youngsters got in on the seven-a-side act at Percy Road on Sunday.

24 teams produced another six hour try feast in the Pocklington Junior Charity Sevens, sponsored by Agriyork 400, with Beverley coming through at the end of the day to finish Under 14 runners up.

Reloaded provided the entertainment at the Beverley Arms Hotel on Friday at a charity event to mark the 18th birthday of the late Alexander Fordon. Mum Lisa and dad Tim organised the night to raise money for Martin House Children’s Hospice. Although enjoyment was the name of the game, the evening proved to be a great success and and a fitting tribute to Alexander. [nggallery id=1574]
