Petanque enthusiasts are invited to a free event to try out the sport in May at the Molescroft Beverley Petanque Club in Beverley.
As part of Commuted Sums from local housing developments, Molescroft Parish Council was awarded £20,600 from the East Riding of Yorkshire Council earlier this year.
On 1 October 2020 the tenth history board was put in place in Eastgate, to replace a damaged board there, close to the footage entry to the Friary and Eastgate site.
It is the last in the present phase of these boards, which have been warmly welcomed by visitors and residents. The planning of these boards began in 2017, under the leadership of John Bird.
Molescroft Parish Council says they are livid after a group of mindless youths went on a graffiti rampage in the area.
During their spree, the individuals involved spray painted a number of locations in Molescroft. Most disturbing was a tag on the Pavillion of the ‘N word’.
Michael Loncaster, Headteacher of Molescroft Primary School has been awarded the Millenium Cup by Molescroft Parish Council.
Mr Loncaster has been the Headteacher at Molescroft Primary School since 2001. His efforts have been acknowledged by the Parish Council who described him as an inspirational figure.
Around a 150 residents from the Parish of Molescroft attended a council meeting last night at the Molescroft Pavilion as to raise their concerns and voice the objections to two proposed developments in the north of Beverley.
