Beverley Athletic Club Juniors travelled to Eccup in West Yorkshire last weekend to take part in the Eccup Junior Road Races. It was a very successful day out in the countryside with the youngsters bringing home more than half the prizes available. Among the thousands of runners from all over the country there were a number from Beverley Athletic club who had been selected to run for Humberside. Beverley Athletic Club Juniors travelled to Hartlepool recently to take part in the sixth race in the North Yorkshire and South Durham Cross-Country League. The race at Summerhill was hosted by Hartlepool Burn Road Harriers and is considered the toughest in the series. The hilly course was made even more demanding by the extremely muddy conditions.
