Beverley Art Gallery’s popular Open Art exhibition is closing on Saturday, 7 January 2023, so don’t miss it.
This year’s selectors, Neil Helyard and Mimi Claughton, well-known Beverley artists and tutors, selected over 100 entries from local artists, reflecting many different styles. The entries to be displayed were selected over the course of two days.
From Saturday, 24 September 2022, until 7 January 2023, Beverley Art Gallery will host the 23rd Open Art Exhibition. It will be held at the East Yorkshire gallery and celebrate local creativity.
This year marks the return of the open art event after an enforced break since 2019.
Next month, Beverley Art Gallery will host the 23rd Open Art Exhibition which will be held in the gallery. The exhibition is due to run from 24th September 2022 until 7th January 2023.
There will be no admission fee for this exhibition. The gallery’s associates are enthusiastic about the return of the gallery to its former glory.
The Friends of Beverley Art Gallery donated a painting to the Beverley Art Gallery, housed in the Treasure House.
Beverley artist Neil Helyard, who’s been a regular visitor to Beverley Art Gallery since he was eight, has painted a wonderful portrait of a man named Peter Orton.
