This weekend, new evening and weekend bus services are starting on existing routes in the East Riding to make buses more frequent.
The East Riding of Yorkshire Council will fund five new evening and weekend services in Goole and Pocklington starting on Sunday 5 November.

As part of the council’s programme of highway maintenance works, essential carriageway improvement works along the C8 road between North Cave and Market Weighton will begin on Monday, 17 July, 2017, and will take approximately 20 weeks to complete.
The road will be closed 24 hours a day for the full duration of the scheme, because of the nature of the work involved, and to allow a safe working environment for the workforce. The works will be carried out by C R Reynolds Ltd. on behalf of the council.
