The second race in the East Yorkshire Cross-Country League took place last Sunday over a challenging 6.6 mile course around Drewton Wold near South Cave. It was a misty and mild autumn morning and conditions were mainly dry underfoot with a couple of muddy sections. Sam Allen Sets New PB In Haltemprice 10k

Conditions were perfect for running last Sunday when more than 200 local athletes celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Haltemprice 10k. Beverley Athletic Club fielded a reduced squad as the race coincided with the 10k at Scarborough but they were rewarded with several veteran’s prizes and new personal bests.
