Beverley ARLC will return to action this Saturday in the 2pm kick off at the Marist Sporting Club in the first round of the Tom Beautiman Cup against Myton Warriors Academy.
The blue and golds were able to field possibly their strongest starting lineup in many a year and it showed as they romped to a 66 – 0 victory over Cottingham Tigers
This was a patchy performance from the blue and golds in which they produced some great attacking plays along with some handling and defensive errors.
Beverley ARLC head coach Pat Howdle got his first match of the new season off to a perfect start after his side came from behind to beat Ryder Rabitohs.
Beverley ARLC will commence their 2014/15 campaign this Saturday. The make-up of the two divisions in the Hull & District League has now been confirmed.
Pre-season training is now in full swing at Beverley RLFC. The blue and golds are welcoming new and old players to the twice weekly sessions every Tuesday and Thursday at the Leisure Centre (behind the Hodgsons) at 6.30pm to 8pm.
