Jacob’s Well is, for the first time, sending a coach overseas, in a change from its normal business of sending aid for hospitals, schools or disaster victims.
The coach, generously donated by Acklams coaches in Beverley, is en route to Burkina Faso in West Africa.
Beverley has been presented with a prestigious national tourism award from the UK’s coach and bus industry.
The town has been awarded Coach Friendly Status by the Confederation of Passenger Transport UK (CPT), which represents the majority of bus and coach operators across the country.
The AA hotel star rating has been around forever. In more recent years Scores on the Doors has arrived but now, for the very first time, a star rating for minibus and coach operators is launched today and already more than 50 companies are on board with more in the process of joining.
