The Eager Beaver got their preseason under way with a comfortable win as they beat AFC Tickton 5 – 0 at Thurlow. Rob Goulding scored twice while Karl Fisher, Brett George and new signing Mike Tarling also got on the score sheet. Eager Beaver Unlucky to Exit Cup

The Eager Beaver crashed out of the quarter final of the Sponsors Cup losing 2–1 to Ryder FC. The side from West Hull took the lead inside the first 10 minutes and added a second goal mid-way through the first half.
