Beverley ARLFC produced a thrilling second-half fightback to win the Ray Speckman Memorial Cup at Haworth Park on Saturday. Trailing 18-6 at the break in energy-sapping heat, Beverley’s powerful pack gradually ground down Cottingham Tigers’ defence to earn a thoroughly-deserved 28-18 victory in front of a vocal travelling crowd.
