Hull Man Fined £400 For Dumping Bags Of Rubbish In Melton

A man from Hull has been fined £400 by East Riding of Yorkshire Council for dumping bags of rubbish in Melton, near Brough.

The man admitted adding to a pile a fly-tipping by leaving further bags of waste at the side of the road in Brickyard Lane, Melton. This is a site which is frequently targeted by fly-tippers.

A Hull woman has been ordered to pay compensation of £500 after rubbish including a fridge and children’s toys were found dumped in the Holderness area.

Charlene Dockerty of Bradford Avenue, Hull, paid a man £20 to take her unwanted items away, but they were later found fly-tipped on the side of the road in Ganstead Road East, Ganstead.
