Beverley Get Back To Winning Ways
This was more like it. After several disappointing performances in which they have not done themselves justice Beverley had a comfortable win here and looked to be back at their best.

Beverley 2nd team finished a great season in style with one of their best performances & deservedly won the Merit League Division 1 Final against Ionians Buccaneers 40-5.
Well that’s it then. This victory and defeat for their two closest rivals as good as ensures that Beverley will now be champions of North One East. Strictly it is not over till
A rousing local derby from which Beverley RUFC somehow emerged with their winning sequence intact. But it was a mighty close run thing. For three-quarters of the match they were completely outplayed.
Seven tries, seven conversions. Beverley RUFC comfortably continued their good run and they now stand fourteen points clear of their nearest rivals at the top of North One East.
Members of Beverley RUFC celebrated Christmas with a party at Beaver Park, staff at Beaver Park joined in the festive fun by wearing Christmas hats.
Beverley RUFC overcame a tough pre season friendly against Scunthorpe of the National League 3 Midlands. The Beavers won the game 37 – 17 with tries coming from Junior Tupai, Tomasi Tanumi, Craig Hancock
A frustrating day for Beverley RUFC. They badly needed a win here and had ample opportunities to get it but in the end too many chances went begging and they paid the price.
Beverley RUFC 2nd XV got back to winning ways at Beaver Park as they racked up a cracking 53 – 0 win of rivals Driffield.
Despite a fierce crosswind this was a fast open game in which the result remained in the balance right to the end. Victory could have gone either way. Sadly for Beverley RUFC it did not go theirs and come the end of the season this narrow defeat could prove to have been crucial if they narrowly fail in their battle against relegation. If so it would be a pity. After…
What a difference a win makes. After a luckless few weeks with numerous injuries and withdrawals Beverley RUFC got themselves off the bottom of the table with a close but well deserved victory against second placed Rossendale at Beaver Park. The game never produced much quality rugby – not surprising given the strength of the raw wind that blew end to end all afternoon – but Beverley RUFC will not…
A rip-roaring game full of non stop rugby from both sides. Quite how Beverley RUFC ended up losing it after almost totally dominating it was a mystery. Even more baffling was how they failed to score a single try despite creating clear cut chances all afternoon. The midfield trio of Phil Duboulay, Junior Tupai and Sam Atiola were simply outstanding and this was probably the best the pack has played…
Not much quality rugby here but Beverley RUFC came out of it with the win they badly needed and a bonus point to go with it. For much of the game Beverley were outplayed and could hardly get their hands on the ball. At 20-7 down early in the second half and penned in their own half they looked to be heading towards another defeat. But the game was completely…
The first weekend of the Beverley Literature Festival saw queuing round the block for Val MacDermid and Mark Billingham; and the Beverley Treasure House was packed with children meeting authors, making stories and being spell-bound by performers at the children’s literature festival. On Thursday, Thomas Penn will be talking about his acclaimed, debut account of early Tudor history – it’s been admired by novelists (including Hilary Mantel) and historians alike. …
Good in patches but much of this game was rather messy and unmemorable. Given Beverley RUFC’s parlous injury crisis the result was probably what could have been expected. That they restricted Bradford to only two tries and a conversion in the second half was a credit to Beverley RUFC who had turned round 41-0 down after being heavily outplayed in the first half. In fact the second half was a…

Beverley RUFC’s season of woe continues as they face up to the most unbelievable injury crisis in memory. Last Saturday’s defeat by Lymm, not only cost them the points but also resulted in serious injuries to lock Matty Adams, flanker David Worrall and outside back Goran Jelencic. Other injuries incurred, although apparently less serious were to stand-off Phil Duboulay, scrum half Chris Infield and winger Rob Smith. Add to these…
A hugely disappointing day. Beverley RUFC never seem to do themselves justice at Morley but they seldom play quite as poorly as they did today. They bore little resemblance to the side that finished so impressively last week against Penrith and the only surprise was that they did not concede a lot more than twenty six points. Morley played with exuberance and dash from start to finish while Beverley RUFC…
