Beverley Athletic Club’s Rob Snaith is celebrating after winning his first race.  He was the first runner across the line in the Ryedale 10 last Sunday, finishing in 57.12. Snaith Beats Pearson in 5K Debut

Runners raced round the narrow streets of Beverley town centre last Friday in the annual Beverley 5k Classic which preceded the National Circuit Race Championships for cyclists. Following the same course as the cyclists, runners completed four laps before crossing the cobbles to reach the finish in Saturday Market. Hundreds of people turned out in Beverley on Sunday to watch the annual 10k road race organised by Beverley Athletic Club.  A record 1089 runners completed the testing course in cool and damp conditions.
