On Sunday 25th August, a party of athletes from Beverley AC travelled over to Robin Hood’s Bay for the Annual ‘Smuggler’s Trod’ challenge event.
Several Beverley athletes travelled to the Yorkshire Dales last Saturday to compete in the Wharfedale half-marathon and Rugger Ramble. The half-marathon is a category BL fell race with some challenging terrain which included a 1 in 3 hill. Over four thousand athletes from running clubs around the country assembled at Roundhay Park in Leeds to compete in the 2010 Saucony English National Cross-Country Championships. The races were held on a muddy course that included a number of tough climbs and descents, culminating in an incredibly steep climb up to the finish.
