Just about what might have been expected. Up against a team sitting fifth in the table Beverley RUFC arrived here with a heavily depleted side which contained no substitutes and not surprisingly went down heavily.
Not a lot here to cheer about. To commemorate the club’s Ladies Day Beverley turned out in pink and unfortunately for most of the time they played accordingly.
A much needed win at last for Beverley RUFC. Conditions today were not helped by a strong crosswind but as a spectacle this game was pretty dire.
A one-sided first half but overall plenty of exciting rugby. On an afternoon of early spring sunshine both sides ran the ball from anywhere and despite the final margin of defeat Beverley RUFC emerged from the game with great credit
Good in parts but overall not a particularly memorable afternoon. After their steadily improving recent performances today was disappointing for Beverley.
Beverley went down to the heavy defeat they might have expected here but there was no disgrace in this loss. Sandal with only one defeat this season are flying high and together with Sale

After their fine performance the previous week this was a disappointing day for Beverley. Nor did the final score in any way flatter Billingham.
A hard fought and thoroughly enjoyable game between two well-matched sides. After their trouncing at Burnage the previous week Beverley came back in fine style and might easily have won this.
Plenty of spirit but not much memorable rugby. After recent rain and overnight frost the going was pretty heavy and this was never going to be a classic.
This match was Beverley’s to lose. And at the death they duly did. They had led 8-3 from early on and had successfully rebuffed all Cleckheaton’s efforts to get back into it.
This was some match. Beverley came back from 40-6 down to get to within nine points of snatching victory. Given another few minutes they might easily have done it.
Beverley return to action this week after having a much needed week off having endured a tough start to their National North 3 campaign.
Another spirited fightback by Beverley RUFC but again not quite enough. They went from 8-39 to 29-39 and given another five minutes might well have snatched a losing bonus point.
Beverley make the trip out west this week to Wirral in a must-win match that could lift the Beavers off the bottom of the table.
Beverley RUFC make the journey to the North East this weekend with a similar win loss record as Westoe but are separated by just 2 points at the bottom of the table.
Some good rugby but not a particularly memorable afternoon. Beverley had a good first half and led 21-17 at the break but fell away in the second half allowing Billingham to leave with a bonus point win.
