A murder investigation is underway following the discovery of a woman’s body at a property in Beverley yesterday in the early hours (Monday 25 July), which is believed to be connected to an investigation into a road traffic collision near Hornsea later the same morning.

On Friday afternoon a car driven by a lady somehow ended up inside the Samman Road day Centre after driving through the window. It is not yet clear how this happened though an ambulance was on the scene and an elderly lady was taken to hospital. Humberside Police and Humberside Fire and Rescue attended the incident and representatives’ from East Riding of Yorkshire Council cleaning up the accident.
