Summer Schools From Royal Albert Hall Conductor Return

Sam Dunkley, a professional conductor, is bringing his company, Performing Arts etc, to Beverley and Hull this summer giving young people aged 8 – 16 the chance to perform in two well-known musicals.

In partnership with East Riding Schools Music Service and Hull Music Hub, the music, theatre and dance company will be bringing professionals from stage and screen to the Hexagon Centre, Beverley and Albermarle Music Centre, Hull during the school holidays.

Successful Fund-Raising for the FERYO

The Friends of East Riding Youth Orchestras held two very successful fund-raising events in Beverley just before Christmas.  A total of £328 was collected during two hours of busking at the Tesco store on Saturday 18th December, and on Wednesday 22nd December a magnificent total of £1,594 was raised during an all day playing and bag-packing session at Morrisons. £750,000 Music Centre Opened in Beverley

Councillor David Rudd, the Chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, opened a new £750,000 music education centre in Beverley today.
