Community feel, great access and excellent amenities – Norwood’s a popular location There’s few places that retain the old-fashioned, community feel of Beverley as Norwood. On either side of this lively road, streets of solid terraced housing give way to bigger, newer houses, all within minutes of Beverley’s historic town centre or seconds from the roads which lead to Hull and the rest of the East Riding. With Beverley High…

When you order your first meal or your first cocktail at Beverley’s newest bar and restaurant – Kubana, on Saturday Market – take a bit of time out to savour the moment and think about the most important thing in life. Not money, nor cars; not jewellery, nor a swanky house. Think about love. And think about the story of the husband and wife couple behind Kubana, Ali and Nicola…
This week’s issue of HU17.net magazine makes it 50 publications produced, a milestone that some 12 months ago I could not have imagined. The first six issues were drawn in Photoshop, which seems crazy now as I look back and remember how painful and time consuming it was. Although still a lengthy process things have become slightly easier with the design being completed using Publishing Software taking between 8 and…

It might be the Beverley Classic Car Rally, but the annual event, held on Wednesday, is also a Mecca for bike and scooter enthusiasts.
