Beverley under nines cruelly missed out on a victory against Skirlaugh Bulls in the pouring rain at Longcroft but were second-best in the score line only after a pulsating, end to end tussle.

Beverley Town Cricket Club’s 4th XI secured their first win of the season when they beat Skirlaugh at Norwood Recreation Ground. Richard Thompson (65) and Neil Graham (32) rescued Beverley who were 20 for 4 at one stage.
The Under eights were involved In an end to end match with both teams showing excellent defence and attack Beverley Braves came out on top to win by 6 tries to 4.
Molescroft Rangers Reserves were beaten by East Riding County League title hopefuls Skirlaugh Reserves. Playing at the Beverley Leisure Centre Rangers were torn apart throughout the game as Skirlaugh went goal crazy.
