Quiet Riot- The Beverley Alternative brought fifty established acts from the Hull music scene to play at Hodgsons Pub and acts who played at the big local festivals such as Humber Street Sesh, Freedom Festival and Cottingham Springboard performed here on a monthly basis.

A coffee morning organised by local runner Lucy Stamford at St Mary’s Church in Beverley has raised over £1000 for the charity Heads Together.

Lucy who recently completed the London Marathon, raising funds for the charity held the coffee morning to help boost the overall amount for Heads Together.

A new project is bringing a taste of the Hull music scene to communities in East Yorkshire located alongside the Hull to Bridlington railway line.

The ‘Culture Train’ is to bring musicians from Paragon Station and play free concerts at six venues including Bridlinton station itself from April 1st to June 3rd as part of a project funded by East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s ‘Active Creative’ 2017 funds.

HULL : Everyone Invited To Hull 2017 Opener Made In Hull

The first of four exhibitions has opened showcasing work created as part of Hidden Voices, an initiative aimed to unlock the voices and creative talents of the 60 homeless people living rough on the streets of Hull who are fed twice a week by St Mary’s Church in Lowgate, will open.

Hidden Voices is one of 60 new projects to receive funding through the Hull 2017 Creative Communities Programme, which is being delivered in partnership with the Big Lottery Fund.
