Beverley Rugby League club held their annual presentation evening last Saturday at the Hodgsons Pub. The guest of honour for the evening was former Hull KR, Hull FC.

This was more like it. After a below-par performance at Altrincham the previous week Beverley RUFC got back to their good form of recent weeks and secured a fine win against fifth placed Birkenhead Park.

A cracking match and a fine win for Beverley RUFC over second placed Chester who had sustained only four previous defeats this season. It was exciting stuff from start to finish.
Beverley RUFC have taken steps to strengthen their coaching set up by appointing former Head Coach Anthony Posa in the same role, initially until the end of the current season with the possibility of extending the role for next season, and former Hull KR and Hull FC legend Stanley Gene as Defence Coach.
