Tamiya 1/35 British Challenger British Challenger 2 (Desertised) is a decent sized kit but all that extra plastic comes at a cost.
Reviews on the internet suggest that the same model offered by Trumpeter and purchasing a dedicated detail set is the best way to go.
This Airfix kit was given kindly to me. It is a 1/24 Messerschmitt bf 109e which was partly made by a chap called George Bogg. We think the model was started in 1973 by George.
It took a while to clean it up, take it apart before putting back together. Sadly, while George put in motors I was unable to make them work. He had also put a lot of effort into detailing the model making many modifications to the original kit.
Airfix has a range of models in their range but from a personal level, their take of the GR9 Harrier is one of their better efforts.
The kit is quite small, however, there is plenty of detail and options provided by this smart kit from Airfix.

Revell always has managed to offer good value when it comes to large scale model planes and their pricing point. That is again the case with the Revell 1/32 Red Arrow.
While it may not be packed with details, the Revell 1/32 Red Arrow never the less is a decent-sized model for the price.

Revell USS Arizona 1/426 is a kit I have had sitting about for a while. So after finally getting it done here are some thoughts and photos of the build.
As kits go I think the Revell USS Arizona 1/426 is very old. On the moulding, there was the date 1959. As a result of its age it was not and crisp as more modern kits.
Italeri produces some fantastic model kits and their 1:48 scale Lockheed F-117A Stealth Nighthawk is a perfect example of that.
As models go this is a very simple build while challenging in it’s own right. In terms of size, the kit once complete is a decent size model.
Revell Supermarine Spitfire at 1:32 scale is a wonderful model that everyone should tackle at least once.
Not only is the kit highly detailed it is also a simple build with that pretty much fits together without any major issues.
Revell Vought F4U-1A Corsair Model Kit proved to be a challenging build. As models go it was not only quite cheap but also quite big.
While this may be an old kit, there is a lot you can do with the model right out of the box. There is an option which allows you to have the wings folded, but for this build, I chose not to.
Italeri EA 18G Growler as kits go is certainly something I would recommend to other model plane builders.
The model its self is made from good quality plastic with plenty of detail. While it is not supplied with figures this is not a major problem as they can be added.
