The Beverley Food Festival was a great hit, crowds flocked to the Market Place which was transformed into food haven. In the specially erected marquee was  a food theatre all carefully managed by top local chef David Nowell of the Tickon Grange Hotel. Beverley Brass Band were on hand to entertain the crown with live music as they browsed the stalls which included one with a mountain of Brussels Sprouts….

After securing funding from Arts Council England of £30,000, East Riding Youth Dance is set to continue for a further year.  East Riding Youth Dance is offering more young people the chance to become members of the project for the autumn term starting in September 2009.
