The blue and golds 2017 season has just drawn to a close, and the club has been taking stock at its latest monthly meeting.
On the field, the club again finished fourth in the Yorkshire Men’s League but went one better this season in reaching the Grand Final.
The run up to this years festival concludes on Sunday 29th September. These monthly Sunday blues sessions have featured some amazing artists including Half Deaf Clatch
The headliners for this years Beverley Blues Festival have been announced as Ian Siegal and Catfish Keith.
Local band This Way Up performed at Hodgsons Pub belting out some cracking music. Before they took to the stage solo singer and guitarist, Grace Christiansen took to the stage.
The last weekend of this month, 26th – 28th October, sees the second ever Beverley Blues Festival. The event takes place at the historic Sun Inn, overseen by the magnificent Beverley Minster and Hodgsons’ public house, situated next to the Beverley Leisure Centre.
Local plumber Mally Wright celebrated reaching 60 with a party at Hodgsons Pub. Mally has lived in Beverley for over 35 years and there were plenty of friends and family there to enjoy the night.
Preparations for this year’s Beverley Blues Festival are well underway. The festival takes place from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th October.
