Winter can be a challenging time for many, with the shorter days and poor weather especially impacting on those who are older, less mobile and more isolated.
But did you know that the East Riding of Yorkshire Council has a range of information and support available to help the more vulnerable residents stay safe, warm, healthy and socially engaged throughout the winter months?
Tickton Players will aim to entertain as they stage their annual pantomime next week. Dick Whittington will run over three evenings from Thursday 20 to Saturday 22 February, from 7pm, at Tickton Little Theatre, at Tickton Village Hall.

Tickton Pre School & Play Pals held a Halloween disco at Tickton Village Hall. Around 160 people attended and the adults joined in the fun dressing up in Halloween costumes.
On the 29th July Real Aid held their first ever Teddy Bears Picnic and Summer Fayre at Tickton Village Hall. It was a fantastic family orientated fun day out.
