Beverley Polo Club is set to be buzzing this weekend In celebration of it’s 10th year anniversary, with a weekend packed with horsepower, champagne & style!
On the 29th July Real Aid held their first ever Teddy Bears Picnic and Summer Fayre at Tickton Village Hall. It was a fantastic family orientated fun day out.

One of the region’s most worthwhile charities is running a family fun day later this month to increase awareness of the vital job it does in East Yorkshire.
The annual Tickton Garden Party was held on the 7th July. As it is the Jubilee year a “special” guest made an appearance! The event was well attended helped by the surprisingly fine weather.

Tickton turned red, white and blue to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The day started at 9.00am at the New Inn @ Tickton, with market stalls and children’s games organised by the Tickton W.I.
Lee and his family moved to Tickton in November 2003. His youngest son Connel, started playing for AFC Tickton’s under 9’s who were being managed at the time by Phil Bailey.

Friday 20th April saw another great evening of showjumping with everyone having a fun night of competition with in excess of 25 entries. The classes started with the clear round to get people warmed up then went on to 65cm up to 1m classes.

Tickton Tigers gave 100% against a well organised Cottingham Rangers; though the weather condition was poor both teams played some good football to the delight of both sets of parents.
