This Saturday the Beverley Action Group have organised a protest march in support of the SOS Save Our Setts Campaign. The group has released a statement about the protest which said;
Rev Ruth Crompton has informed us of the intention to close the long-established Toll Gavel United Church Pre-school Playgroup, which was started by Toll Gavel parents in 1969 and has provided a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for pre-school children for 42 years.
Toll Gavel United Church was filled this weekend with hundreds of angels. Some were big (human sized) and some were very small, some were sitting or standing, and some (like the giant Angel mobile hung from the ceiling) were flying.
