Beverley RUFC under 15 squad opened their season with a match against Cleethorpes. On a gloriously sunny morning, the squad strode out fit and ready following a summer of training.
After a few weeks without a match it was good to see the team on with a fixture. They travelled to Hornsea to play another developing side.
Beverley RUFC under 13’s / development side travelled to North Yorkshire to face Malton. Always a strong opposition and this was to prove no different . The blast of the whistle also saw the start of a downfall of rain which was unrelentless. The first ten minutes saw the ball played mainly in Maltons half , Beverley managed some brave runs with the ball from Jacob Holmes and Rory Johnson….
Lingering Fog at Beaver Park didn’t stop Cleckheaton making their journey to Beverley for a rematch, previously Beverley had beaten them in the season.
