An enthralling match.It was fast, furious and never dull and it all ended happily for Beverley RUFC. The upshot was that with the win and four-try bonus point Beverley RUFC are now level pegging in the scrap forthe probable last remaining position of safety.

This was more like it. After a below-par performance at Altrincham the previous week Beverley RUFC got back to their good form of recent weeks and secured a fine win against fifth placed Birkenhead Park.

This was rugby at its best. A cracking match in which the lead changed hands five times and the result remained in doubt until the final whistle.
