Staff at Beverley Building Society teamed up with local British Heart Foundation representatives to learn the life-saving skill of CPR.
On average 867 in East Yorkshire alone die coronary heart disease. The British Heart Foundation aims to fund thousands of research projects around the UK that are fighting heart disease.
The Beverley Building Society has named their Charity of the Month for April, which was voted for by their members who visited the branch.
It was confirmed that the British Heart Foundation, who operates a store on Toll Gavel in the centre Beverley, who were the winners and received a generous donation of £250.
