Over 30 Ukrainian Refugees Helped By Local MP With Visa Applications

Graham Stuart, Member of Parliament for Beverley and Holderness, has assisted over 30 Ukrainian refugees with visa applications since the war in Ukraine began.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has resulted in Europe’s largest refugee crisis since the Second World War. The Government launched the Homes for Ukraine scheme, which allows the British public to open their homes to Ukrainian nationals.

MP for Beverley and Holderness, Graham Stuart has condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and says he supports the Government’s severe sanctions against Russia.

Graham Stuart MP has also signed a book of solidarity in the Houses of Parliament to Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Parliament of Ukraine.
