Despite a slow start which saw them go 6nil down the Beverley Braves under 11s eventually ran out convincing winners by 32-6 against Lambwath Lions.
Beverley Braves under 11s pulled together to secure their first win of the season and progress to the quarter finals of the Admiral of the Humber cup with a 8-14 win at Myton Warriors.
The Beverley Braves under 10s finished their season with a disappointing defeat at Holderness Vikings. The game rearranged from earlier in the season played on Saturday 6th October in lovely sunny conditions ended in a 40-12 defeat.
After the disruption caused by the summer holidays Beverley Braves played their first game in four weeks and were able to pick from an almost full squad for the first time in seven weeks.
On another wet Summer day, the Beverley Braves U8s started in typical fashion, Jacob Parkinson driving through the heart of the Wyke defence leaving Samuel Shrimpton space to run down the line to score the opening try.
Although the Beverley Braves had their biggest win of the season against Lambwath Lions, credit must go to their opponents who never gave up.

Beverley Braves under 10’s got back to wining ways with a 34-18 victory over Hull All Blacks at the leisure centre. The Braves scored six tries and kicked five goals in an entertaining game with Luke Dobbie scoring a try and a goal on his debut.
