It’s been a difficult few months for Yorkshire County Cricket Club and there is much work to do both on and off the pitch. With many new faces behind the scenes, the players now have to focus on the task at hand and look to compete in the three main trophies.
At the helm, for one more season at least, is Beverley-born Steven Patterson who is Yorkshire’s club captain. He is one of the players looking to bring more positive headlines into the county and all of his considerable experience will be required in order to do just that.
Cricket legend and one of Yorkshire’s greatest living heroes Geoffrey Boycott OBE will be joining the speaker list for The Business Day at Bridlington Spa on Friday 8th June 2018.
His announcement follows that of Joanna Lumley who was recently announced as the headline speaker for the prestigious event as part of Humber Business Week.
