The Beverley Braves under 10s rugby league squad ended the season with their presentations at Hodgsons recently. All the boys received a trophy in recognition of their efforts, presented by special guests.<\/p>\n

Alex Starling, a former Braves player who has just signed a full-time professional contract with Hull FC and Airlie Bird, the Hull FC club mascot.<\/p>\n

Awards were also presented to those players who have contributed most to the team during the 2012 season, voted for by the players and their parents. In what has been a season of further development for the young players, the awards were: –<\/p>\n

Most Improved Player – Dylan English
\nPlayer’s player 3 – Lewis Egan
\nPlayer’s player 2 – William Wallis
\nPlayer’s player – Ethan Rowbotham
\nMan of Steel – Marcus Walker<\/p>\n

The players have a well-earned break from training before picking up on pre season training as the new under 11s, with the new season scheduled to start in March 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n \t\t\n\t\t\t\t
