Beverley Town Academy and the Lord Nelson shared the spoils after the sides played out a 2-2 draw in the East Riding County League.<\/p>\n

The Lord Nelson who have already won the league were in control of the game though could not beat the Town in the derby.<\/p>\n

Goals for the Nelson came from Shaun Foster and Danny Mackevych, Nelson manage Terry Jackson said;<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought we deserved to win as we bossed a lot of the game but Beverley Town held out for the point, fair play to them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI just would like to congratulate my team on finishing a season undefeated and would like to wish Beverley \u00a0Town Academy the best of look for next season.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey gave us a little push through the season but we proved to strong overall for their young lads.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Lord Nelson return to action in the week when they meet Hodgsons FC in the H E Dean Cup this Thursday at the Beverley Leisure Centre.<\/p>\n
